Jeremy Hunt urged to end 'snotty tones' amid NHS-led STP fears

Six boroughs have blasted the health sector's 'crude understanding' of social care as they manoeuvre to ‘reclaim’ the agenda within the ‘NHS-dominated’ sustainability and transformation partnerships (STP) programme.

Richmond upon Thames RLBC and Wandsworth LBC's joint director of adult social services, Liz Bruce, who leads the coalition with Merton, Sutton, Croydon and Kingston LBCs, has claimed the NHS has failed to listen or understand the role of social care.
