LEP board to appoint trade union member in national first

A Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) in Sheffield is to be the first in the country to appoint a trade union representative to its board.

Members of the Sheffield City Region LEP’s board agreed at its meeting yesterday to invite the Trades Union Congress to nominate a representative.
