LGA 'rapidly refocuses' improvement work

The Local Government Association (LGA) has ‘rapidly refocused’ its improvement work to help councils deal with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year’s memorandum of understanding between the LGA and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has been ripped up and redrawn to include new expectations that have arisen as a result of coronavirus, covering the first six months of 2020/21.
