Northamptonshire reorganisation plan to go to Government

Reorganisation proposals for Northamptonshire will go to the Government for approval this week.

The plan to form two unitary councils covering the county were passed by Northamptonshire CC and Wellingborough BC in two meetings yesterday, triggering the next stage of the process.
