Angry councillors in Northumberland have demanded a meeting to address the ‘unholy mess’ around the aborted disciplinary action against chief executive Daljit Lally.
Northumberland Council chief executive officer Ms Lally was placed on ‘extended leave’ after she emailed members raising whistleblowing concerns in August.
