It’s not often that you’ll catch Lewisham LBC chief and local government innovator Barry Quirk indulging in a bit of election fraud. But that’s just what the thirsty chief exec did last week when he visited a bar for a cheeky snifter.

Clever microbrewery types, sporting identikit hipster beards, took advantage of the global media’s fixations and named brews after some of our biggest social ills.
