Hartlepool Council has warned it may have to dip into its reserves if it fails to make savings to reduce a £920,000 in-year overspend.
The council has previously used its reserves after recording ‘significant’ overspends on its general fund budget in 2016/17 and 2017/18 due to ‘continuing service pressures’.
