STPs: ‘naive NHS’ recipe for disaster’

Proposals to reform health services through sustainability and transformation plans (STPs) are a ‘recipe for disaster,’ one council chief executive has warned.

In a letter to NHS England chief executive Simon Stevens, Warrington BC boss Steven Broomhead said he was concerned about STP timescales and ‘astonished by NHS England’s naivety’.
