South east urged to find its voice

Councils in the south east of England have been urged to find a consensus on reorganisation by a local government expert.

Talking to the South East England Councils (SEEC) group, Professor Tony Travers from the London School of Economics warned of the dangers of not taking control of their own destiny and coming up with home-grown proposals for reorganisation and devolution.
