The most exciting recent news for me was not president Trump’s inauguration or Mrs May’s unveiling of a bit more about Brexit (or indeed Camden LBC’s back to the future set of public demands on Brexit which followed).
Much more important than all of these was Surrey CC’s decision to ask its voters to pay 15% more in council tax to help fund social care.
