UKSPF allocations remain largely unspent

Some councils spent less than 5% of their 2022-23 UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) allocations by the end of March, Freedom of Information Act requests have shown.

Local government researcher Jack Shaw found 2022-23 allocations from the UKSPF remain largely unspent, with Gateshead, Stoke-on-Trent and Cornwall councils spending 5% or less of their pot.
