WMCA to push ahead with CIF deal without Sandwell

West Midlands Combined Authority has insisted it will push ahead with its regional investment fund despite Sandwell MBC pulling out.

The seven councils that make up the combined authority were each asked to put £10m into a £70m collective investment fund (CIF) designed to stimulate jobs, opportunity and growth.
