Scotland’s public spending watchdog has hailed the improved leadership of councillors and officers at West Dunbartonshire Council.
A report by the Accounts Commission said the council was in a ‘good position’ to tackle challenges including falling population, economic deprivation and poor health outcomes despite facing a budget gap of nearly £14m over the next three years.
