Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called on local government secretary Michael Gove to ‘accelerate the now stalled Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill’.
It comes after Tory MPs demanded the Government’s flagship legislation be fast-tracked through Parliament before the summer in an effort to improve the party’s electoral fortunes.
