Budget cancellation ‘unacceptable’

The cancellation of the autumn Budget has been branded ‘unacceptable’ by the Scottish Government.

Speaking at the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives’ (SOLACE) virtual conference, the cabinet secretary for communities and local government in Scotland, Aileen Campbell, said the move created 'huge uncertainty’ for budget setting north of the border.
