Catherall announces his retirement

Blackburn with Darwen BC chief executive Harry Catherall has announced he will retire at Easter, after 40 years in local government.

The chief executive – who saw his council named local authority of the year in The MJ Awards – will hand over the batten to his deputy, Denise Park who has worked with him at the council for 21 years.
