EXCLUSIVE: 'Local government could face its own Ruth Perry case'

Local government could face a tragedy similar to the case of the headteacher who took her own life, a chief executive sacked after a section 114 has warned.

Josie Wragg, who was dismissed from Slough BC by commissioners for ‘gross misconduct’ in March 2022, called for changes to help senior leaders ‘under immense pressure’ in the lead-up to and aftermath of a s114.
