Prevention is better than cure, as health and social care secretary Matt Hancock has trumpeted all over the news this week.
It seems the health sector has finally caught up with local government – and indeed my granny’s wisdom – and realised it is all about early intervention. He may be a bit late to the table, but he is welcome.
