Local government ombudsman warns of looming funding crisis

The ombudsman service could begin to suffer unless funding is increased, MPs have been told.

Local government and care ombudsman Michael King said that the body was currently getting by on the goodwill of staff going above and beyond their paid duties to stay on top of demand.
