Making the healthy choice easy

There is no doubt the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on our lives, directly and indirectly. However, the disruption it has caused to our preventative health services, and the changes it made to many of our lives has created a significant public health risk going forward.

We know excess weight and physical inactivity are direct risk factors for long-term conditions like type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease and this has the potential to add further demand into our already stretched health and care systems.
