Northamptonshire CC has appointed Ian Duncan as executive director of finance and section 151 officer.
Mr Duncan, a former president of the Society of Municipal Treasurers, is due to take up the role from next month, departing from his current position as interim director of finance and procurement at Wiltshire Council.
