Ofsted chief highlights 'serious safeguarding issue'

Children are going missing from schools in Birmingham and Tower Hamlets without any record of their destination, inspectors have warned.

Ofsted chief Sir Michael Wilshaw said this was a ‘serious safeguarding issue’ after inspectors made follow-up visits after the so-called Trojan Horse plot.
