Planning for net zero in Central Lincolnshire

Central Lincolnshire’s new local plan creates planning policy for climate action around five main themes, and is already generating momentum towards a net zero future, says Ian Fytche

In his poem Ulysses, Lincolnshire’s poet laureate, Alfred Lord Tennyson, looks back on journeys through a life, reflecting perhaps on the state of the world as he sees it. In doing so, he issues a call to action: ‘Come, my friends, it is not too late to seek a newer world’.
