Brian Roberts has joined the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) in the part-time advisory role of associate director for local government.
Mr Roberts, whose 40-year career has featured finance roles with Staffordshire and Hampshire CCs, has been president of CIPFA, president of the Society of County Treasurers, and core finance adviser at the Local Government Association.
