Whiteman defends 'traffic light' index

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy’s (CIPFA) chief executive has defended the organisation’s traffic light-style financial resilience index.

In an interview with The MJ this week, Mr Whiteman outlined the argument for an ‘early warning system’ for council finances.
