Core Cities UK hires civil servant as new director

A civil servant at the heart of the devolution agenda has jumped ship to become the next chief executive of Core Cities UK.

Stephen Jones has been named as the successor to outgoing director Chris Murray.

He comes from the Local Growth Unit, which works jointly across the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
