Edinburgh chief executive to retire

The chief executive of Edinburgh City Council has announced that he is to retire.

Andrew Kerr took up the role in 2015, having previously served as a chief executive at North Tyneside, Wiltshire and Cornwall councils and was awarded an OBE for services to the public sector in 2021.
