Levelling up, scaling down?

The Johnson Government’s flagship Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill could face a cull as it winds its way through the Parliamentary process, The MJ understands.

According to sources close to Parliament, controversial planning measures in the Bill may be stripped out and held over to form part of a new housing and planning bill – possibly alongside legislation to create the new Government’s controversial investment zones.
