Plan to fight poverty

Set against the bleak backdrop of rising rates of child poverty across the country, a Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) report earlier this month highlighted that the North East continues to have a significantly higher rate of child poverty than the national average. At North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA), we have been working with partners and stakeholders across more than 100 schools over the last two years to better support children and families living in poverty.
