Sheffield chief executive ends 11-year tenure

Sheffield City Council chief executive John Mothersole has announced he will retire at the end of the year. 

Mr Mothersole joined the council in 1998 as executive director for development, environment and leisure before he took up the post of chief executive in 2008.
