Southern discomfort

Central Government control and genuine local devolution are like two tectonic plates that have ground against each other for decades.

Beneath the surface though, the case for freedom has been building momentum and can no longer be suppressed. Devolution energy is radiating out from Scotland across England and the South East is ready for the aftershock – ready to ‘carpe diem’ for the benefit of the whole UK.
